My favorite teacher (about personal qualification)

I liked my high school English teacher. He was not energetic. He always taught us listlessly. When I asked him, he always said that it was not his job. He was just trying to be himself. Usually teachers taught us passionately. However, he was different. I liked his attitude. He also told us about his many experience, for example his travel, hobbies. He watched the movies over 100 titles when he was university student he analyzed movies by himself. He introduced us to his favorite ones. He was not strict or energetic, but taught us many things which most teachers didn’t teach us. I loved him.

I like visual learning, but his teaching was different. He gave me a lot of reading tasks. I had to understand all sentences with dictionary. He always said the basics ware very important. English has only five sentence patterns. So he wanted us to get used to patterns through the reading.

His class was very quiet, because every student tried to understand what he meant. My classroom was little colorful. There were pictures, writings and poets. He told us jokes about them and made us laugh. So I could feel relaxed and interested in hid class.

I want to be an English teacher. I would like to teach English and use my experiences to attract students’ interest like him.
