The ocean pollution
Water covers three fourths of our planet. It is a main source of life for creatures, and without it would be no life. Now ocean pollution is a very serious problem, which causes many harmful effects for humans as well as animals. This will be discuss about the causes and effects the ocean pollution.
Ocean pollution comes from boating, dumped wastes and off shore oil production. There are many ships and boats which are used for business and leisure. They dump exhaust and oil into the ocean. People also throw away their garbage. It is very destructive for wild life and it is awfully hard to get rid of it. So the wastes which are produced by boats and ships, and which are thrown by the people into the ocean may lead to the ocean being dirty.
Air pollution also causes ocean pollution. We produce a lot of gases from cars, factories, and combustion emissions, ash and airborne pesticides. These gases are in the rain. When it rains into the sea, the marine plants and fish become weak and poisoned. It also causes decreasing oxygen. It leads to dead fish.
The most serious cause if ocean pollution is runoff from land, which constitutes 44 percents of all the ocean pollution. This runoff includes chemical fertilizer that we use on the farms to make the plants grow well. It also includes trash, sewage, and chemicals. These things cause the ecological chain reaction. It may create a huge number of ‘algae and phytoplankton’ that is very harmful for livings and may increase the number of dead fish. In addition to the effects to the sea creatures, it may cause diseases for people, when they swim in the sea. The real problem is that some states don’t even monitor their water. Sp people can not know the danger of their ocean. The things which people use in their everyday life may lead to ocean pollution.
According to the research, the population on the coast will increase. It also implies that they will make an increase pollution. The oceans are one of the biggest sources of all life. We have to think about next generations and about the future of our oceans. In order to protect our environment from this sources pollution, all the people, nations and governments must cooperate to reach these goals.
